I have only ever submitted 2 maps. DuckJetpack and now this is the 2nd one.
I tried to submit it before probably. But it showed up error with bot how I worded something.

What about the map makes it look like ddmax?
I have played plenty of ddmax and ddrace maps. But personally I have been unable to find any clear differences. I would love to understand what things make this look like a ddmax and not a ddrace.

I have looked over the mapping rules before. And I haven’t seen an issue myself. So I am asking why?
I don’t see any patterns in map design when looking the other new maps. Please, if you could just give me some sort of understanding.
This decline is not only caused by design-issues. I don't believe it when you say that you looked at other recently released maps and compared those to yours. Following the rules doesn't guarantee you a release - those just function as a baseline.
I have looked at other maps, but I don’t know what I am looking for in the new maps. All the maps look very different in their own way.
What are these fundamental flaws you are speaking of? I would like a list of at least some of them.
Well, the only complaint I got is the lack of reasoning for decline. There should be a “Reason for Decline” so the player understands why it was declined.
Then, why mention look at the rules? Was there anything failed on the rules?
So, the map can’t be designed to be faily?
- the parts are really tight very cramped for more than 2 players
- the difficulty of the parts seem very incosistent
- most of the parts are really simple, boring, uncreative, anod unenjoyable to play / unsatisfying
- too many speeders, nowdays its really unnecessary you should work with tp s instead for the most parts
- it really feels like an oldschool map that was mapped 15 years ago
- some parts use way too much special tiles wich makes the parts look chaotic, you could map way cleaner for the same gameplay purpose
- some parts are REALLY repetative and is just annoying overall

The messy part was a design choice. But, yeah if maps are meant to be clean that’s not gonna pass.
This is not release-able without vast amount of effort and time put into a rework. We'd advise you start over with a new map and take the experience you got from this. Please keep in mind that making a good map usually takes months.

I see, cause I wanted the map to be designed around Insanity, chaos, pain, mentally insane tasks, and easily failable.
That’s what I went in for when making the map. I reworked the entire map once. The first design was worse.
Are any of these categories listed. A valid option for making a map?
if you can map it well, then it could work, but you should start with something simple
just try to make interesting and unique parts

I like to make maps around a specific theme. And not make maps with a little bit of everything. That’s fine for a map to be just based of a singular theme right?
Not a single mechanic, but a single theme.
- its still extremly cramped. looking at new released maps you can see theres a lot of breathing space. and even if messiness is meant, its not pleasant to play
