would the map break, if you used the sv_team command? i guess you can add something that moves every playing tee back to the the info about how to reset the map, when someone gets stuck, because the locked team restarted

we had a few words repeating multiple times and some wouldnt appear at all, i guess the teleporter have some kind of rules instead of being completely random
after 2 players left, we got different/new words
writing "pants" instead of "pant" would be more intuitive i guess
from what ive seen, i think teleporters try and teleport tees as far away from any other tees as possible, so when tees left/joined they wouldve shifted the area you wouldve been teleported to or smth
A solution for this that could help would be to make it less random and have 'rounds' of words to go through. this would make repetitions much less frequent.
For example
turn 1 -> turn 2 -> turn 3 tele 1 -> tele 2 -> tele 3 words 1-20 - > words 21-40 -> words 41-60
the more different teles that you use would spread the words out more and make the players more likely to get unique words.
You could also just add a lot more words but that still could have repeats

This device is designed for randomly selecting partitions and switching partitions during repetition
but it could still repeat
you get teleported to the left, disable switch 32 and end up in tele 201

Unfortunately, this change does not seem to significantly reduce the probability of getting the same word repeated. In my public server testing, there were still some words that were highly repeated (even in 20 rounds, the word 'window' appeared 6 times)

to me it sounds like the map has some natural limits which cant be fixed anyways (multiple teams typing in all chat will cause a mess) but take your time to find the best solution possible 🙂

i tried to find encouraging words, but im very sure, that the testing team is not too strict on this 😅 it should work properly, it should work without too much explanations about joining teams etc or a really easy process like "join a team to start" restarting should work just fine or there should be a teleport to the explanation, if the tees have to do some special thing to reset the process
but thats just my opinion now

Especially the code for what symbol means what letter. I think maybe placing it somewhere where it is easy to see while playing would be better so people don't have to find the image to work out what it is saying. Also at the moment they would have to wait.
Why not instead take the players through another contraption that outputs what the word was in chat? The 7 segment display really isn't ideal here in my opinion.
Here is a simplified version of your letter display allowing you to use half as many switches. Could neaten up how the binary is displayed.

if the mapper understands how all the logic works and where its positioned, its fine putting all the modules together just helps when other mappers want to see how something is done, but more often the position and shape of modules is just a vague hint which switch/tele comes next and barely helps when trying to understand the map and for the bugs part: i had a similar situation on my map braintee (at the very end of the channel) where the position of the module caused the tee to get stuck
i rather wanted to understand the 2nd thing, i can also argue why it's good to make a contraption focussed map easier to read 😅 similar things were implemented with the current updates (stuff that doesn't affect the user)

The background being blank has quite some advantages to the map. However, I can understand that it might be a little boring/plain after a while. I feel like this really just comes down to personal likings. Perhaps it might help you to just try and apply some design changes and see which one is more preferable. 👍

Hi, a few things regarding the available words:
draw a - soccer. Do you mean soccer ball? draw a - bulb. Maybe specify a light bulb? draw a - photo. How does one draw a photo? :D draw a - cap. Specify please. A hat? draw a - lawn mover. lawn mower. draw a - crossing. What's a 'crossing'? draw a - island. an island.
Some switches seem useless like switch 9? (Maybe not a big deal.)

If the blue background is placed over the spawn point, players might mistakenly think they've returned to the spawn when they use the clean function and end up killing themselves XD.
We previously discovered that when the map is just voted to change and players are loading, the switch might not work properly, which can cause players to enter the game directly from team0. Switch 9 was implemented to prevent this from happening

I was able to identify the letters on this one while I couldn't on the top so I'd say that this suggestion is way better

not even enough to support the operation of the new canvas😭however, based on our search, we found that the last two monitors were hardly used, which would make 14 or even more switches available. We will try them out during the next holiday
yes, the original canvas may have looked a bit messy. We plan to make some adjustments to it to make it more readable😁

Because sure that‘d be cool if it was more efficient but it doesn’t actually matter from a player’s perspective at all does it?
maybe more, we will try to make players playing more comfortable and bau always come up with some good ideas that we always want to add it
