Hey, I had high expectations but was a little disappointed since I really liked the first one. ๐Ÿ˜…

General:

  • You can reduce the size of the layers, the map doesn't take up all of the space on the bottom and right.
  • A lot of the parts feel to tight and precise which breaks the flow.
  • There are no new interesting mechanics. You mostly repeat the same tricks with different setups. (repetitive) Ninja trough corners feels overused and at places where it would probably better without.
  • In my opinion the parts go back and forth in the necessity for good speed and precision which doesn't provide a satisfying experience at all.

Screenshots:

  1. All of the design and entity checkpoints are not aligned.
  2. Weird spacing, having to slow down to not walk into the wall.
  3. If I try to make a smooth swing I won't reach the ninja so I have to make an unintuitive rehook.
  4. Fake unhooks.
  5. The ninja is positioned too far right. It's awkward to pick it up and then try to avoid the tele while still trying to hook the block.
  6. Why do you force such an precise angle?
  7. If you get to close to ninja trough the corner you either hit the tele on the right, the one below, or won't have the angle to make it to the next platform.
  8. The first jump is very weird and feels unnecessary to force. The ninja downwards at the wall is very precise. In general this part is very tight (without good reason).
  9. Again a very precise angle and good speed is needed which is not fun to do in my opinion.
  10. The double corner ninja will probably be a part for a lot of players to leave on. Also the last one isn't great because of the different heights of the shields.

  1. Again a very unnecessary 'precise' jump that forces you to slow down.
  2. This ninja is too precise. You need a great angle facing slightly up while firing just above the tele. Wasn't fun especially at the end of such a long part.

note that I am only a player who tested the map and this is my non profecional notes about what you can change

part 1 is good you dont need to change anything part 2 you can skip it pretty easy. part 3: good but not much happening. part 4. took 30 min to me to understand what to do but its a fun part when you understand it. you can add arrows part 5. good part but you can add arrows to show where you are going part 6 is one of my favorites. just weird when the shields come part 7 is good. maybe the teles not needed to be there and replace with shields. part 8 need a rework. speedrunners will rq cus its little rng part 9 is hard and confusing. maybe delete the edge tele and add as the thing in the beginning. part 10 more space to loose dj. and its little harder than the other parts cus its long part 11 is very fun but the shields in the first part blocks often to get through. and after the half its get confusing about what to do and its pretty long. part 12 is fun but the 2 edges makes it little RNG and be hard to speedrun part 13. instead of 2 teles make it to 3 to make it easier to jump through it. makes it flow more. I like this part. one thing to change to is when you fly up and need to jump to get the ninja back you need to be very precise. and the edge at end is kinda annoying after you have done all of that before.

. I like the map, I dont think its worse than the last one. Just need as catseyenebulous said more space and better flow in some arias. the edges was repeated to many times but I really like some parts. The parts themself is better than the last one imo. just need some changing.

dont be so hard. he cooked on the last one and he will do it again. let him change and rework some stuff and this map will be better than the last one.

this adds new ninja tunes (duration, movetime, velocity)
