@anokyshi im back with a new race map few things i have to mention
yes its a mirrored map and it doesnt show anything new of a gameplay, but in return it has a really good flow and it doesnt really feel the same playing it backwards
i cant really argue that the design is poor, i like my race maps simple so there isnt much that can catch your attention, so you can focus on your gameplay
there are no real time cps because on a map like this it wouldnt really work (afaik, correct me if im wrong)
i attach gameplay (its not a good run) how the map plays so you can understand the flow better max possible time is i think around ~55 seconds, maybe even less
for time cp, it's fucked up xd, maybe you can still put them for the first half, but the major problem is the switch, race map don't have switch.
so i will see with the testers for that case, if the map have a flow good enough and not just a basic 1 star, + not on unique it can be rls.
really? i thought i saw few race maps with switches, i mean its easily solved with a tp without switches too but that would double the size of the map

well, i'm not expert in race maybe i'm wrong, but i'm 99%sure race is only basic tiles + tele + grenade
- Race maps can only use Race tiles, thus contain the following tiles: hookable, unhookable, teleport, kill, grenade, time CPs, start and finish line.
E02 has switches aswell

but like i said i can just copy paste the map doubling it in size so switch wouldnt be necessary( a tp at the turning point), but then also the tp would ruin the flow a bit
theres also the "Other" category in the race map voting, those maps have speeders
switches should be allowed if its quality of life

i personally dont like the parts where you're just falling down and waiting for a double nade to land (especially using the double nade angle bind).. feels not too race-like
you dont need to its just my way of doing it, but i could all few more hookables so you can do different ways, also its not written in the rules you have to use binds to shoot down

And after that someone will create a lot maps just backwards . Or same parts just backwards in map . No hate just telling opinion.

also changed the switches to the cp/tele variant

sry ano, but we had an internal vote that landed a clear 4 | 0 against this map.
we collectively agreed that having a race map with 0 challenge that's just
doesnt fit. a map where it's just "a matter of time" before you finish isn't something us testers want. i quote: "

Most of the players who will play this map arent even in this discord server, yet alone check testing channels So if the vote is already between a select few then imo at least have it between competent ppl (you can argue that some testers arent, but i would say they are compared to the average joe xD)
