Removing the kill tile lets you get out of the map, not that it skips anything but I don't like this approach
I thought the same as you but I think it's fine if you time the shot at the same time as dj
But I'm talking about removing the edge kill, to make the laser more comfortable.
I would rather it get forced like a ceiling, like the rest of the parts
I tested this and it's more consistent if the dj is used lower, so the top spike sticking out should be removed
I kinda figured out what I was doing wrong, you have to jump as late as possible and use dj early, but it doesn't feel clear to me in the design, especially with the kill sticking up so much
feels like until u learn that, it feels really random
and you have to shoot hella late xd idk why it's so forced
really fun map
so basically there's only one floaty freeze jump, one 17-tile freeze jump, and one 14-tile freeze jump. the rest feel consistent because they're otherwise forced as 11-tile drops. the 14-tile at the end feels really consistent, so could you maybe change this jump to be a 14-drop not a 17-drop? or maybe tell me why im a noob and 17 feels harder/random
(anyone can answer the noob part, btw)
maybe it's because I don't have enough X momentum there, but its so weird to not hold D or A like the other jumps.
I could have also been aiming too far down after the drop, idk. maybe im better at it now xd
I think it depends on your x speed which depends on how early or late you laser yourself there.
I guess it'll be easier if you jump to maximum height

i dont like first part, feels a bit awkward, u might need to experiment with the spacing a bit. everything else nice (also the jumprefill on first part kinda lame)

I think the reason they did this is because you sorta have to jump, otherwise you freeze. So I think it's fine
also i think swapping the second refill for walljump might feel a bit better

Ah, just that the dot feels weird when it should be 'arrow pointing up' or smth. it's hard to mark this though, just use what makes the most sense

i'd make start move a bit easier, or keep old move but just do it without the jump refill + fix the spacing.
It's a very good map, but there are a couple of areas I didn't like.
- on this part you can't guarantee a jump from the ground, and sometimes you don't have enough speed to jump over kills, even though you can jump from the edge of a platform.
- This edge doesn't fit into the overall flow of the map, in my opinion; it stands out too much from the rest of the map (my opinion) good luck with the release😎👍
i agree with point 2, point 1 i need to retest but i found that getting an earlier shot helps with keeping your speed
and if you dj slightly bad its kinda good cus the laser hits you sooner

For that first laser point you just need to time the laser correctly, then its fine
The edge is Ok imo. Up to you if you want to keep it. Try to make the finish jump slightly easier though

I think the minimum speed is 75–80 but it's not 100%

speed one tick before going through killtile = 78.13 (not accurate, ddnet physics are weird but i was satisfied enough with these results)
if there was 1 more tile to gain speed the skip wouldve been possible

After resizing, some jumps don't work... any idea why?
I tested it, and your movement depends on the coordinates. For example, if you set the X coordinate to 100k, you won't be able to jump properly xD
So should I leave this as it is?
Only move it to the left, if you change it vertically the setups break.
Sorry I forgot to mention that, could've saved you some time.. The game gets more inaccurate the farther you move from 0, 0 so a lot of setups depend on the correct y coordinate.
