On servers with ping 100+ I think the map will be much more difficult due to shaking

i would change the placement of the CP's so you can go from part to part, it ruins the flow having to collect the cp's.

the parts feel decent, but they're mostly just up-down-left-right, i personally would like to see some variety, i think you could utilize this mechanic greatly even with stairlike part structures, it right now feels generic to me. I personally would also extend the map a bit, it was over pretty quickly for me which was sad for that mechanic which i really enjoyed personally :(

what is with shotgun_speed 100 ? does that affect something i dont know about or is it an unused setting?

  1. Uhhh, I think I can experiment a little bit tomorrow :))
  2. shotgun_speed = speed of freeze bullets ig. Change the value to 10000 and check, maybe something will change, but I'm not sure

yeah i'll also play around with the settings, as you mentioned the prediction breaks which makes it look stuttery

The problem is not in reverse gun, but in changing the strength of the jetpack as a whole (I think)

from my experience it also seems that the client can't handle a tuned jetpack (as xewoiy said) so ehm open a PR ig xd

i really like that map and idea, but i want to say a bit for gameplay,

  1. bullets are too slow, making them a bit faster would be a good idea (maybe)
  2. much parts so skipable, so making it a bit harder not would be bad
  3. most parts is just about flying, so they a bit boring for that long map

Hello xewoiy,

I tested your map and played it a few times to think about the mechanics and the map itself. Three things stand out right away:

First, playing the map feels very boring because nothing new or exciting happens. Next, there's no sound while playing, which makes the map feel "dead" and gets me even more bored. Another important point is that the flow is interrupted multiple times in every part by a wall, or because you have to wait at the laser switches before you can continue. You move through the map much more slowly and each part feels very repetitive. That results in having a little or no motivation left to keep playing or even speed-running the map.

The idea behind the map is really not bad, I can't say anything against that. But to make it fun and give players a reason to replay it, you should concern all 3 main points.

I especially recommend creating new parts with continuous flow and adding more content or variation to the map. Also, playing with sound would make it much more enjoyable. You could maybe add some nice background music or maybe come up with even better ideas yourself :D

At this point, I would decline your map and I hope you will come up with something to bring more life into the map and create something unique. I wish you good luck with that c:
