Why? Have you ever played oldschool?

Some passageways are too crowded and need to be expanded.
Some 1tiles → 2tiles or 3tiles
And as a whole, it feels like Novice5.
The speedup is to help newer players that attempt the map.

also don't use speedups to fix cheats when it's really easy to fix with a few more freeze tiles
imo there are way too many "turn off entities" signs
I suggest grouping the layers (keeping everything in one group is messy and shows lazy mapping) also I would diverse more the connection of round and square edges of walls. Maybe something like here on screenshot (If I would have more time then I would try various ways of mixing them(square and round) and see how it would look best:
I also don't feel the colors of the map.. blue, "pink", purple kind of don't mix too well in that combination. Now i get back to being sick. Will get back in about 2-3 months ^^

Most parts require spec to complete, novice players might fail a part from not specing. Maybe not though, haven't played a novice map in a while.

That map is neither moderate nor novice
The parts are quite simple but they require to do some small moves beginners can't do
It felt like playing the same part over and over again, dragging in tight places, with short hooks (which is slow and annoying)
The unfreeze tiles are rarely placed properly
Remove the envelopes
There are some nice parts but overall it's unbalanced

the "unforgiving" parts are quite easy if you think a bit and do them correctly
You are talking about novice/early moderate players, you can't expect them to think about that
The parts are very repetitive, it felt like doing the same thing over and over
I mean from their perspective it takes a little bit of thinking
They are also very frustrating either with strong or weak hook as you only get small hooks to drag over hookthough
It's neither interesting for beginners nor experienced players
The lack of (good) unfreeze is also a huge problem
The parts are made in a way you can easily block (unintentionally)
how is it not interesting for beginners? it has some cool but simple parts

Find 10 beginners and 10 pros willing to test it and to prove me wrong (unbiased of course)
I've done that part already, not everything relies on my perception of things
That map needs a great rework that's why I declined it not to clutter up the waiting mapper section

i also enjoyed playing this map , the parts are simple , but good and even if i correctly remember have some creative parts and very good flow .
I can rework the map
and yes there are fails like if you jump into the part without looking, but punishing braindead play is fair in my books
feels pretty easy if you walk off from the right and hook+dj
and yeah I also think the bores parts are the main problem

Most of the unfreeze was made for speedrunning, so I decided to put it in tricky spots

personally, I would place the unfreeze tiles a bit more generously since the main target demographic of this map are novice players and it's kinda annoying to miss the unfreezes imo

maybe try to balance the faily gores parts and make it novice 5

Map is too plain atm, all i can see is hookthrough parts which just repeat themselves all the time, imo novice maps should be more entertaining introduce to other techiques and include more variety
even novice player would found same techique boring if thats what the whole map is about

uhhh how is it plain or boring? imo part are totally fine for this difficulty with enough variety, also i like how some parts teach the motion of moving the tee one way to then speed him up the other way
many parts also need analyzing first (where to jump first to progress) which is rare nowdays
like yeah noobs will be able to stay in this unfreeze but i doubt they will get out
Hookthrough parts are the concept of the map, each part requires brain, and spectating for players to pass them, so I don't really see how they are plain. I checked through the map and didn't see parts that were repeated.

Here comes the feedback after playing the map with several beginners
Overall they believe the unused corridors are confusing and distracting
Having hookable everywhere is a problem for many
You should use unhookable at dangerous places, places where you could hook the hookable and die
also i feel like the freeze and hookthrough color could be swapped
probably would be better to look at
Boti counted 184 circles, he suggested to remove 3 of them
Besides all those complains, they all say the map will be fun to play when the issues are fixed
