Hello, i am sorry to inform you that this map does not meet the current standards of what we expect, so this map will be declined. The main issue about this map is that the gameplay is quite outdated. The mechanics you need to do in the parts are mostly not really fun and the difficulty comes from tight parts and unfair faily sections. If you want to get an idea for what gameplay is engaging i suggest to play a few moderate maps that are recently released or played a lot. I also highly recommend to test your map with your friends or maybe other mappers before uploading it, so you can get some feedback on your map. I don't like some of your design choices, but the pixel art Dragon was nice! If you have any questions about this please just ask.

Could you please recommend a few specific map names that you think are good examples for me to study? I'd love to learn from them and improve my future submissions.

I would actually advise to not look at very recent maps, if you'd like something with normal gameplay then maps like Noovice!, Tropica, Dizzy, Cup of Tee, Sunny Land etc. would be nice to learn from and I think they match your map's difficulty.

The style you used is quite outdated so it's hard to find a map with a similar style that might help you to understand what to improve on this map. Maybe maps like https://ddnet.org/maps/Cup-32-of-32-Tee/ or https://ddnet.org/maps/rizek/ can help you. The Baby Aim series https://ddnet.org/maps/Baby-32-Aim-32-1-46-0 is also quite popular, but it's a different style.

also when you vote to change the map, there's a

section, which mostly includes bangers. Some might just look outdated.
