Hey guys. The map is balanced around groups of ~4 people, but can be played with 2 for an extra challenge.
The beginning is mapped so that a start in team 0 works fine.

I agree with the unfreeze parts to add more flow and shorten the waiting time! To the cheatable parts you claimed: they were all intended for speedrunners and its fun to explore these little ,,shortcuts'' :)
Oh besides that shotgun shield bug, that needs to be fixed

the first parts are really good, later the maps is still good, but the layout of the parts gets a little bit weird. tested with

u can get frozen after the unfreeze here if u dont move out of the way so idk id fix it

The point is to have multiple ways so that tees can spread in t0.
You can skip more on that part than your screen shows.^^
also you don't really miss out on anything great by going a different path here I actually liked the openness there

I was just saying that instead of a bunch of stuff that won't get played, you could have some actual gameplay there. I wouldn't count on this map getting played by so many people that the first part needs 5 ways
People will take the way that fits better for them, i don't see a problem there because it still needs some skill to do the part either way. Actually quite nice gameplay design

The goal was to engage group play. So there are many possibilities and ways to save or do stuff easier in groups.
You're right, most of the maps are easy to use in large groups
On the other hand there are a lot of cuts for pros to speedrun, which require skill significantly above the map's difficulty. So there should be some challenge for different kind of players.

I think it should be everything on hd that is not gameplay relevant. This has always been the case, why should every mapper randomly decide what is hd and what is not. I will keep this rule because I think it makes sense

Thanks for finally making it clear. I hope you just forgot to add the exceptions for the Logo or to state that a bg quad is needed (not needed for gameplay, but for non DDNet-Clients).
I edited the map with these exceptions and hope it's fine.

You are talking about very minor stuff. The map is ready for release since 1.5 months.

Yeah that's basically correct. I added them for very rare cases where people want to switch parts. Then they will run through cp5 automatically. If not, nothing is wrong. Also it is better if people going back spawn at to 6 instead of to5, so that they wont block the part. tl;dr: totally irrelevant for 99,99% of all players.
there is no need for it because u can still take the tee out if u want to swap. Also what if they dont take cp againbecause its not fully up covered they can jump above it, you never know 🙂
