weird spawnpoints unmarked (un)solo tiles i dont really get the point of a noobfilter in a novice map nowadays

first part can be entirely skipped 2 parts are completely unbalanced in time and difficulty not that creative

gores doesnt really fit into novice imo and its not that easy for novice players anyway

there are not many novice maps these days most of them are very old and unbalanced the Glass it shouldnt be in novice don't you think?

There are also new good novice maps and yea ofc older novice maps dont really fit into the category nowadays since they were built for a different playerbase. Maybe there will be a rerating of all maps in rhe future. You should only focus on recent releases

so the old vibes are still affecting the gameplay

noob players will still have to face the maps

unfortunately I am unwillingly sensitive also it doesn't make sens people like to have fun 50% or more players in this game are not speedrunners they play to have fun

ppl make changes to make our life better and more satisfyin, same with design and parts on maps so we can have more fun by playin em, there are a lot of maps rn, why bother to make another one that has nothing interestin to add on top of existin ones, especially poorly tested and designed. but there are not a lot of maps at least not enough to make people learn step by step there is a gap between every difficulty that makes it too hard to to step up sometimes

need to put in some simpilified hard skills between every gap in maps

like 5 novice have big gap than 1 moderate

or you mappers make a Qualification test maps in every difficulty that need to be mastered before going up

star rating in any game isnt always accurate, its just a suggestion, skillset in this game is based on many things, there are maps that are drags only, hybrids ,hh only etc. IMO ppl who are new to the game shouldnt care about the star rating, if u cant play certain map, just move on to the next map. U cant rly fix the gaps between star rating, there will be for sure moments when gap will be bigger cause its just how the game works, higher on the star rating, so gaps get bigger, also u say there is a big gap between novice 5 and moderate 1, like there is a reason why one of the map is novice and other one is moderate, ofc the gap will be bigger than between for example novice 3 and novice 4, idk why u care so much about it

the only thing that I compare it with don't laugh, Cod4 codjumper mod

i will tell u smth from my experience, i have played osu!, the rhytm game and there is also star rating, there was the same thing u will call ''issue'' with the star rating, the gap between 1-2 was nearly invisible but then jump from 4 to 5 ish was so big that i was stuck there for a way longer while progressing

like novice maps cope each other when it comes to parts cause u cant rly be too creative with em to not make em too difficulty, but then if u do some parts that are way harder for novice, it will jump immeditly to moderate

I noticed in Tw that when there is alot of maps now that are not fun just difficult for testing people patience even if u can do it without a problem the sense of enjoyment is not a part of it

its turning into esports now instead of entertainment

its a rly subjective opinion, some ppl enjoy a parts that are super hard, ppl seeks for challenge after several years of playing this game, nothing new

also a lot of maps hit a different skillset of yours so this is also a thing

idk about the standards of mapping several years ago but there could be a option when moderate map had brutal segment but the rest of the map was a lot easier, so the map was basically unbalanced, but star rated to moderate cause there was no reason to make it brutal just cause of one part
