great map
there are so many things i dislike about this map
its just edging for 10 minutes and doing insanely tight jumps
and the only reason it's hard at all cause theres kill tiles everywhere
i wasn't there when hostile was submitted for testing so i couldn't have said the same thing. this just looks unfun to play imo. just 10 minutes of edging doesn't feel that creative either

i dont get your point. u can "cheat" every kill edge in the map with holding jump +a/d. normal edge jumps are harder than the kill edges
Better remove the ones that don’t work automatically imo
better to add more kill edge where you can't hold jump for membrane keyboard
every kill edge u have to do works with holding. all other kill edges are skipable. so u dont have to change anything

would remove all kill edges. If u dont remove 99% player cant finish. if u remove maybe 90% cant finish o: And not everyone can do this kill edge jumps with holding jump. No bugs found, map's rly hard, even without kill edge. 🙂
I kinda like the map, its very hard yes but all doable and if you try and learn not annoying to play. I just dont understand where you put your style corners (freeze), its kind of random where you put them (no system behind it or i dont see), pls explain

Good map. It's funny how far we've come, from tele edge to multiple kill edges in one map. I don't know what the others mean by doing the kill edges with holding jump, doesn't work for me, i do them normally by pressing a/d while falling. I like how there are multiple ways to do some parts. There are two design "bugs" that i wouldn't consider as a problem, but I'll mention them anyways: Because the vines are quads that are repeated, they don't really have an end they end abruptly. The corner spikes sometimes have the shadow on the wrong side, because the tileset has too less variety. (corner spikes with 2 instead of 3 spikes) But those details aren't really visible to the people, so don't bother.
Someone explained kill edges to me recently and now I know how to do them, too. But first of all you have to know how it works. Nevertheless I dont think now its necessary to remove them, cause map is without them really hard too and only a hand full of ppl can finish this and this ppl know how to do the kill edge

Unfortunately in the end the map turned out to be completely different than what I first meant it to be
It just became one more meaningless map
all right but the first version was comepletely okay and good, so imo the map shouldnt have turned out completely different. but its all right i guess if mapper doesnt want it i can understand

Kill edges are hard but not impossible, I've only counted 5 and not even sure if you have to do one of them
the kill edges are the point of the map and they are the best part of it so they shouldnt be changed which means that this map could still be released with the kill edges cause they arent really that hard
it's like with every hard move, once people start doing it and get good at it, it becomes "ez"
well that one move also as pipou mentioned quite unfair towards ppl with bad keyboards
its not something u can master if ur keyboard bottlenecks u

well anyway any membrane keyboard is much worse than a mechanical
and even mechanical keyboards have disparities
I'm playing with a 10 year old membrane keyboard and can do kill edges decently
well i can assure u u would be much better at it with a mechanical keyboard
i mean its not even a discussion its literally a fact that mechanical keyboard are more precise
obviously u can still edge with worse keyboards but its not as consistent and 1 fail = game over which is kinda lame when u dont have the full control over it
of course but just as an example that with my terrible keyboard this is still playable
