Testers had increased the level of gameplay expectation for novice maps, louis mentioned it somewhere in "meta-testing". Here most of the parts feel awkward and not "interesting" enough with just 1 hooks. So what i would do is, the parts you have now, keep recreating them until u have find a better way for it (don't over spam hookthroughs, try adding them only in needed places). The first part for example, instead of 1 hook at the top, you could make something more interesting there that flows into the second part down, etc.

Keep in mind balance, mapping novice is a bit hard to maintain same balance, so watch out for that.

Agree, no need to be fancy in a novice map (you can do it ofc but it will probably be better for noobs to see everything clearly)
