hmm you repaired it so fast, I just wanted to prepare to repair it

I suppose you only used the standard ddnet editor? This is a bug that sometimes seems to happen, where random things get corrupted. I bet we can find a quad and crash the client by clicking on it somehow :/

The issues were in the first, fourth and fifth layer. The position envelopes for these three layers were all -2, which is not a value it should ever be

im constantly hitting the ceiling of the new HT blocks, was no issue with arrows before ( i guess, i only tried skip version xd)

There's no need to manually reset a channel in waiting. The bot automatically moves the channel and resets it once the submission author (you) uploads a map file.

i played it and i think it's an interesting map, figuring out how everything works is interesting, but in my opinion the map is a bit unbalanced, some parts are almost novice parts and some parts are rather hard, i will explain that with some screenshots:




there are more easy parts, i don't want to post too many screenshots, i would love to see a rebalance of some parts

with this pace going on, we will release this map next valentines day

and i agree with the statements above, i felt the same while playing it

especially the one when u can easilly hit the ceiling while wall hammer

on this map it's somewhat different, because you have to climb again if you don't join a team (if the spawn is closer to the start, that doesnt really matter)

Overall I like the map. I think the gameplay is good. Compact parts but you have to think about how they work. This creates a nice flow. Wer going back to more brains less yeet.

Hey, interesting map. I just tested with Welf and found some things to note. ^^ Gameplay:
- Can you please add an indicator here? You don't see what to do from above very well.
- Tele should be moved closer.
- Move the deep up by one or two tiles? It's currently an uncomfortable spacing.
- Precise jump to make the catch below possible. Move the deep one to the left and/or extend the hook so you can get yourself some speed. Block the misleading part at the bottom left off please.
- Allow a safe way back? Feels awkward if one falls down and it's a fail.
- Add a platform here? It's a hard throw for moderate while hooking the other player up.
- Put the tele at the top please, there is so much space up there and it doesn't take away from the part.
- Just remove the hooktrough here? It doesn't work anyways, much easier to hook from one lower trough the tele.

- You forgot the design for this - it's only in entities.
- Sorry I didn't mean to fully remove the blocks just make it unhook. Maybe bad wording on my part. ^^"
- You have some slight offset for your start and finish line. Put the "Para X" back to 100 and move the design for start and finish back to it's place.

You can update a channel only once or twice every 15 minutes, due to discords ratelimits

If you spam /waiting /reset etc, it's going into a queue and the bot gets stuck

that's not the issue here, we used the wrong cmd and got a cooldown because of that. (i tried /waiting to remove it from waiting instead of /reset). the issue was that before that happened the map didn't go back to testing after the map update.

No the channel doesn't get moved out of waiting by the bot automatically.

It doesn't update on the test servers for me.

Hello, I really enjoyed playing and testing the map. However there are some parts which could be improved just a little bit, to make the map suit the moderate category and to make it enjoyable for everyone!
- Starting with the startroom, which I think could be better in general. The issue is probably the shape of the map, which is forcing players to climb up to the first part. This should be less bothering for anyone playing and I would appreciate if you could do a change there, to make it possible faster and easier to get to the first part.
Also right now it isn't clear that you need to join a team before starting as there is an entities off sign missing before the start line
- As in screenshots 2. + 3. + 4. + 7. there are still a few faily spots which should be fixed to make the gameplay experience more fun and less frustrating for everyone.
There are only a few problems around the map so I don't have to say more than needed. Posted screenshots with cheats, gameplay adjustments, bugs and QOL changes. I'm waiting for you changes to test the next version!

Asked for the arrow on 8 since it's not intuitive to just drop a player at the wall. (You can't judge the one safe spot next to tele from above very well) Most would hook one below which would result in a fail on the stoppers. The hammer can be removed though. :)

Most of the time only hitting the first undeep tile. Could be moved at least 1 tile down. Or you find another solution. If you move it more than 1 tile down, you could cheat with hammer from bottom.

Parts where I'm still suggesting and waiting for changes.
ss: 1, startroom should have an easier way to get to the startline. Welf suggested to have tunezone (iirc) which lets you jump higher.
ss: 3, should at least be unfaily as your map overall isn't faily. ss: 7, same as on ss 3. ss: 16, as I mentioned in last clip. ss: 19, I asked to make the throw less higher and not higher + floor should still be deeper as you have done that on other parts as well. ss: 26, would be more intuitive to have the hook closer to the player and it would be more visible. ss: 27, you should fix it, as you can skip the whole part easily which might also be faster and easier.

as planned the bot recognized that another person than the first uploader sent a new version, but when i clicked on the check mark, it didn't go back into the map testing section. that's not how it is supposed to be? (currently the reupload is missing a checklog so it's at the correct place) edit: this map was uploaded before the bot update, so i guess this is an exception that can be ignored
