this is my 4th map build or something, i tried kog before that and it was pretty good and got approval

Start of the map is already chatable u can go to finish from there Map doesnt work properly tiles are placed in wrong spots/are missing and dont work properly
Frog(JK) wrote what needs to be fixed etc. atm this map is not in state to be able to release. Please test your maps before posting them here maks sure parts work

I tried it on my own clan first and now I'm waiting for it to be approved 82% said it's fine
10% said you need to make it bigger

what's the problem?
if i am being honest, i think you should try to create a new map. look at recently released maps to see what we are looking for in the novice category. these parts don't have much flow and don't fit eachother well
and try to be a little more original with the parts instead of just putting corner after corner in each drag, make each hook have some sort of purpose
and there are even some parts that you borrowed from other maps. to put it nicely

although it can be fun/chill to play, parts like this already exist in a lot of other ddnet maps is what im trying to say

this is a novice map that doesn't have the most unique parts, but it has good structure and the map is consistent quality and theme throughout
and there is enough space between parts, there is enough space to move, and there are no overly faily or unbalanced parts
so it is good
if you want to continue mapping, i would suggest making a new map
try to stick to a lower amount of tiles - don't use too many special shields or powerup tiles
and see if you can create parts with good flow and spacing

Please test your next map on your own at start look for bugs, don't spam shields they have 1.5 hitbox
Do not post it tommorow take ur time, there is no need to rush some maps take several months to release we aren't always avaible for testing.

It's not about how many people u have to test the map work on it don't rush it, maps that are rushed to release aren't good to play/test.
1 tile space in between is enough 🙂
to be fair in certain scenarios those tiles can be skipped, if i saw the space and space i need to skip those tiles for major skip id do it, the many shields is quite useful to prevent that, but it is ugly too
Nah no way you skip through these, you need 2 tiles inbetween before you can skip them
Not possible to skip them sideways, only vertical. Sometimes if they are put next to tele in some ways they can be skippable, but in this case with unhookable on top and bottom it’s not possible to skip
As example take a look on a solo map Falling into Future by Silex. You can save nades over shields
i am making a general example of some on my experience, i don’t still know how they 100% work but im guessing anything with a proper setup can be looked further into
and I am telling you from my experience 100% how they work. You need 112.5 speed to get past the middle of 2 shields but can only get up to 75 speed horizontally
this game has been out for a very long time, anything can surprise you if you discover something new, it is a possibility so don’t rule it out
unless the physics change or something new gets implemented it is not possible to get past
