I see that you were inspired by stronghold to make this map Well, this one is not releasable because stronghold was released in 2016 and it was almost the first hh map I don't see a future for this map and it's better to restart a map from scratch by taking inspiration from more recent maps

Hey, yeah that is what I was about to say, I have made a map series called "SimplePlay" (which leads to the similar name SimpleBLocks) which is basically the same style but on novice/moderate level and shorter. But if you decline it, i will respect it but wont agree with you. 🙂

About the logo, yep has to be embedded, my bad

Last screenshot: you supposed to hammer 1 tee over throught the hole and 2 tee jump to left and get caught. couldnt test it cuz im a scrub with my dummy 🙂

Honestly looks like not a bad simple hh map, just the start seems a bit small. But we typically decline similar maps nowadays so not sure if it'd be fair to release this one. Maybe with some improvements and a fresher modern design it'd be releasable so let's see what other people think and reset for now.

design doesn't matter for now, just saying in case we decide later to release it it'd need at least some background

But I didnt use background for my simpleplays either

its 2020 make a simple background or make the background fit the theme

yeah but mapping quality is moving forward, nowadays all maps have more than just basic blocks and a flat color sky

other part so boring with basic idea.

The map itself seems to be decent. Even though I would adjust a few things, your newest version is already much better. The big problem is that this map neither does something new, nor does it feel like a new Interpretation of something old. Or to say it simple: It's more of the same. For Testers, this could be a reason to decline it.

Okay I see your point and I can understand if it is getting declined. I just thought maybe a new facet hh-map could be nice, anyway let me try to make an example. Imagine all players are marathon athletes. They always run, it is always the same, the only thing that changes is the route. So basically what I am saying is, many player do not want much different anyway, based on the percentage of a map running on a server. For example, the Muliteasymap server is always full (I know it is a on map only server but still ppl are joining it), then what other maps do you see? Grandma, Grandpa, Stronghold, Back to Basics, and then maybe some other maps but it is always coming back to these maps I just listed. That's my thoughts at least.

if u look at "Grandma, Grandpa, Stronghold, Back to Basics" map structure like hh+part+hf+part+hf+part etc. so "part+filler+part+filler etc" but if i look at ur map it is look like "filler+filler+filler+filler etc"

and dont forget for no creative maps quality is higher, cus have so much hh and hf maps.

right now there just really isn't anything new, which isn't bad, but most maps of this type still have creative parts and deliver in their long run while developing a flow. this is both too short and has no outstanding creative parts, so IMO this needs a rather big update

and with creative I don't meen weapons / tune zone stuff but just clever interactions of minimum two players / large groups. but there are still an infinite possibility of interesting interaction. you can also pay more attention to "flow" and I think this can be done by thinking about how parts are connected and in which order. because it is not trivial what the next part ist, you can put a lot of thought into that. making good team 0 maps is not easy

Ye it is my bad. Wonderfully2 was have same problem and it was too decline for same reason. and i thought if u need remap more then 50% map it need just declined cus need a lot of time for rework(especially if these are big maps).

I explained to the mapper where he was wrong, and as it seemed to me he understood what was wrong with the map.

Update: changed/added/deleted a few parts and changed design
