Since some people have talked about a rework of multimap i mapped it, i do not expect this is getting released, but if it's a good solution for stopping blocking on original one because of less space .. why not. Also made a simple grass design on it.
i cant see this released. this might be a really good option for now but when some time passed people will ask why this map exists. maybe we can have a temporary release. would be sad about the ranks tho
this map is still not on the test servers and the ddnet.tw preview is just a black screen for me very frustrating

Imo neither multimap nor this rework are good enough to be on the servers. The map is unplayable for 2 beginners, in big groups only one or two tees will do the work. Either way the players wont learn alot on this map.
Of course this map is better than multimap e.g. some blocking spots are removed and alot of parts are easier/have now unfreeze, but for me that isn't enough.
These arguments are not really the things we should talk about imo tbh .. shouldn’t think much about 'how good this map is and players wont learn alot', they just really like multimap, the full servers are the best reason and this is just a version without stupid blocking spots. There’s not 1 good reason to not release it imo. At least it's better when new players come to this map instead of the original one if they ask if this game is just for blocking and waiting all the time. That is just my point of view and i don’t know why we shouldn’t do that actually.
Mutlimap is a bad map and this is just slightly better, but still a bad map. I would prefer to protect new players from bad maps. We should just put Mutlimap on Moderate, so novice players don't get molested with it.
I don't see them liking the map, they don't have many options (they maybe don't know about better maps or something like that) and wait in the first gores until somebody hooks them out after being stuck in the filter for 10 minutes. For me that doesn't look like fun no matter how many tees are in that first gores part.
I agree that this map is better than multimap, but that's not a release reason for me.

I only played there for like 3 months
people still blocking their asses on multimap and we're not gonna release this without a clear reason .. it's a shame

what's up with all this recent toxicity towards testers, what do mappers expect out of it? multimap is just objectively not a good beginner map, and we dont need 2 of em, 1 is enough. you even said yourself that you're not expecting a release

imo, multimap is a bad map that doesn't meet standards even if there is a rework of it. the nobos will rq original multimap because of the difficulty, not the blockiness. this map still has the difficulty of the original so i'm not sure how it would make less rq-s.

I don't understand why deen likes Multimap. I talked with some players and none of them really thought that Multimap is good for beginners. Maybe move it to Moderate and we are fine.
For me this map would require a big rework, so i don't think it would be worth showing all the flaws/issues in screenshots.

Personally I always loved faily maps only. Maybe it's a matter of taste, but it feels much more fun when you know the entire group will die when you fail

Failyness itself isn't the issue about the map. It's too faily for beginners, too hard to save at some parts and the parts are too tight for new players to learn.
id say failyness is fun to a lotta ppl

its just the fails in multimap are kinda frustrating cuz sometimes its not because of player skill but rather a very dumb map design
like before in multimap u could fail at the llast part if too many people were suffocated in the tele, etc
From my experiences with beginners, they need alot of time/repititions to learn stuff, i would prefer a map where they can learn alot. A gores with teleporters would help them much more than a tight gores with freeze. I also don't see why they should learn edgejumps on novice.
I don't want to write a full review about this map because that would cost alot of time.

i mean, you feel a lot better after you finally finish a hard faily map than a hard tele map

But lieing in freeze until somebody hooks you out is not fun

the map is really unbalanced and unplayable for 2 beginners, this is rather a moderate map, because some parts are too tight/faily e.g. in the gores parts it's hard to save your teammates. of course i can't list all the issues here. this map requires a rework to be playable, but creating a new map would be better in my opinion. many parts are rather outdated. if any tester want's to rework this map in this server discord, they can $reset the map
