playable design and interesting gameplay
it's a good start, but you need to develop more the part for them to be more interesting. some part are repetitive
like the way to get the grenade
or the jetpack
the way you give and take back the weapon are not great, it's better to get all grenade or laser part together and not use shield

the paradox for me is that you should to play a lot of maps to be able to make interesting parts(have experience) but if you lack imagination you would just copy them from other maps i think you really need to play this game more (totally random maps)

During my studies, I started watching game recordings and gameplay, trying to remember it)
my imagination is shit asf so i'm not able to make even one part without suffer during few hours

its normal to spend a few hours to make a good part
if ur happy with the outcome then ur doing it right
but if u sink time and feel like u have nothing then its just lack of direction
in which case it s rly helpful to establish some kind of theme for the map
didn't tried to make real great part but my brain lacks ideas
i know only parts i have played

if u have a real interest in mapping just try to establish some kind of theme
theme could be map with only 2x2 tiles, map with no corners, map with unfreeze parts, map with no hammer etc.
doesn't have to be vanilla also, there are plenty of unexplored ideas with special tiles, as long as you stick to one tile testers are fine with it

i found my favourite maps by playing a lot, at some point you're able to decide what YOU like and what YOU dont like same applies for mapping pretty much, you just try, test, evaulate, and if you dont like it - try again!
